Hello, my name is Katherine Janusa and I am the writer for this blog. I felt called to start this blog five years ago during one of my most interesting experiences of attending Mass. In college, I attended daily Mass every day and it caused beautiful growth in my personal relationship with God. One particular December night at daily Mass, God was speaking to me more clearly than most times. I felt a call to reach out to a particular person that I wasn't close friends with, I felt told to start working on a book/blog that I could spread the faith with, and then Mass ended with us finding a dead body in the church which led to some unique reflections with God that evening. It was definitely a memorable Mass that I think about quite often.
Since then, I have been allowing the Holy Spirit to prompt me to write down my own faith experiences that could help others grow in their personal relationship with God. The title of my blog seems incomplete but it's because with each post I want to focus on a new way that you can be inspired to grow in your relationship with God. Every person is unique which makes their relationship with God unique as well. Some parts of the faith have a greater impact on certain people than others. I challenge you to give yourself the opportunity to let the Holy Spirit work through the many different aspects of the faith. Although every single way won't lead you to a big testimony moment in your relationship with God, the more ways you allow God come into your life, the more likely you will find that one way that does move your relationship with Him to the next level.
As I start to post more articles, I am sure you will get to know my own personal testimony story. One thing that I love about my relationship with God is that it never stops growing. Because it is an ongoing story, my testimony is not something that can be summed up into one short article but pieces of it will be spread out across the different topics on this blog. So whether you do not have a relationship with God at all or have been going to church every day for years, I hope these stories will give you a chance to never stop growing in your faith by challenging you each week to grow in one aspect of your faith.
